    Abstract: A system, a terminal, a server, and a method for providing an augmented reality are capable of providing environment information data in a direction viewed by a user from a current position. The server for providing an augmented reality manages information data to be provided to the terminal in a database according to a section. If the server receives current position information and direction information of the terminal from the terminal connected according to an execution of an augmented reality mode, the server searches information data in a direction in which the terminal faces in a section in which the terminal is currently located from the database, and transmits the searched information data to the terminal.
