Additionally, an opening is provided opposite a bottom wall, with the bottom wall connecting the first and second sidewalls. The second sidewalls include extensions that extend beyond a height of the first sidewalls, so that an edge of a solar cell panel is sandwiched between the extensions when the junction box is mounted on the edge of the solar cell panel. The BIPV junction box of the present invention may be applied to the connection of BIPV solar cell modules.
