  • Publication number: 20150049303
Abstract: The present invention provides a photochromic composite lens which includes a penetration layer located exteriorly, and a blocking layer located interiorly, and a transition layer located between the penetration layer and the blocking layer. A thickness of the transition layer can be adjusted in view of the field requirements. In addition, functional coatings, such as abrasive-proof coating, fog-free coating, refraction free coating, and other functional coatings can be coated onto the penetration layer and the blocking layer, respectively. With this, the photochromic composite lens can be configured by polycarbonate lens or lens made from other material. Scratches over the surfaces will not impair the intended function of transition.

  • Patent number: 8820920
Abstract: The present invention provides an eyeglass frame securement apparatus comprising an eyeglass frame with upper and lower frames for eyeglasses to be mounted thereon, two outer sides of said upper and lower frames attached to eyeglass temples, a protection strip frame locked into inner circumference of said eyeglass frame; protruding pins extending forward and rearward from a center of the lower frame pivotally attached to the upper frame; a rib extending from outer sides of the upper frame and inserted into grooves to restrict the eyeglasses; protrusions on upper end of supporting shaft of the eyeglass temples inserted into the spaces on the outer side of said lower fame. Therefore, once the upper frame is completely assembled, said eyeglass temples can be outwardly bent to allow said protrusions on the upper end thereof to extend outward from the horizontal hole of the upper frame to restrict said eyeglass temples directionally.

  • Publication number: 20130208231
Abstract: An eyeglass temple structure includes a connection segment extending from the outer side of an eyeglass frame and an eyeglass temple of appropriate flexibility. A slender rod segment is disposed at the end of the connection segment. Bump portions tilting inward are formed at upper and lower ends of the rod segment. Upper and lower flanges extend from top and bottom of an outer side of the eyeglass temple. Continuously extending holes corresponding in position to the upper and lower flanges are formed at levels thereof. The upper and lower flanges are spaced apart to form a space therebetween for receiving the rod segment. The bump portions can be inserted into the holes. The eyeglass temple and the connection segment are pivotally connected to facilitate proper length adjustment of the eyeglass temple and enable the eyeglass temples to be spread apart slightly and worn on the human head conveniently.
