A bottom spacer protrudes from the casing, and the bottom spacer spaces a lower surface of the casing and a seating surface on which the casing is seated from each other to form an intake port. A first air flow path is formed at the lower portion of the casing so that air introduced through the intake port flows to a rear space of the casing, and a second air flow path connecting the first air flow path and the electric chamber to each other may be formed at the rear space of the casing.

A lighting device may be disposed at a position spaced forward from the cooling fan toward the door. A lighting guide with a guide space having an oblong hole shape may be disposed at a center portion of the guide duct, and the lighting device may be disposed in the guide space. Accordingly, the lighting module may emit light to the center portion of the cavity to illuminate uniformly an entire internal space of the cavity. Further, the lighting module may be surrounded by the lighting guide, thereby preventing overheating of the lighting module due to high temperature discharged air flowing through the guide duct.

According to the present invention, there are advantages in that the microwave oven with various functions can be provided and articles to be sterilized can be more efficiently sterilized using the microwave oven.
