  • Patent number: 9299152
Abstract: Systems and methods which provide generation of image depth maps which more accurately represent the local depth discontinuity within images through use of image global depth maps adapted based upon image global motion and/or localized depth analysis utilizing relative relationships of attributes across depth discontinuities in the image are disclosed. Embodiments utilize a full global depth map which is larger than or equal to the image being converted in order to accommodate image global motion, in generating an image global depth map. In operation according to embodiments, an image global depth map is identified within the full global depth map, such as based upon global motion within the image. Localized depth analysis, using pixel attribute relative relationships, is applied with respect to the image global depth map according to embodiments to generate an image depth map which more accurately reflects the local depth discontinuities within the image.

  • Patent number: 7104820
Abstract: A card connector includes an insulating housing (1), a number of contacts (2) and a shell (4). The insulating housing (1) defines a card receiving space (15) with a card insertion direction and comprises an engaging portion (114, 102). The contacts (2) are retained in the insulating housing (1) and exposed into the card receiving space (15). The shell (4) covered the insulating housing (1) comprises a resilient piece (411, 421) corresponding to the engaging portion (114, 102) of the insulating housing (1). The resilient piece (411, 421) of the shell (4) engages with the engaging portion (114, 102) of the insulating housing to urge the resilient piece to slightly distort elastically after the shell (4) is assembled to the insulating housing (1).

  • Publication number: 20020038394
Abstract: Devices utilized for communication between a PC and a peripheral device, synchronization between the same, and supply of power to the peripheral device from the PC, are disclosed together with methods for their use. In one exemplary embodiment, a sync-charger cable accomplishes the above objectives using only the cable and its components, without the use of specialized and bulky hardware. For example, the sync-charger cable may consist of a data conversion unit operatively connected between a USB connector and a handheld device interface. The sync-charger cable operates both to exchange data and to deliver power, without utilizing an A/C adapter or a docking cradle.
