Abstract: The invention is a holder-filter for tobacco products such as cigarettes. The filter removes tarry materials present in combustion products as aerosol droplets or vapors by passing the combustion products through a restricted passage to impinge on a cool surface of an annular sealed chamber formed between two o-rings, to change direction of the combustion products and expand them into the annular sealed chamber such that the tarry materials congeal on the surfaces of the annular sealed chamber.
