    Abstract: A channel coding method and device using an RA method and puncturing are provided. In the channel coding method, the input information bits are repeated according to a repetition factor, interleaved, and accumulated. The accumulated bit stream and the information bits are converted to a serial bit stream and punctured according to a puncturing pattern. Thus, a codeword with a required coding rate is generated.
