Abstract: Disclosed are a side-toolbar-display method, a terminal, and a storage medium. The method includes: displaying a user interface; receiving a first sliding signal and a second sliding signal triggered on a touch display screen, sliding directions of the first sliding signal and the second sliding signal pointing to a screen-middle area from a screen-corner area, a sliding starting point of the first sliding signal being located in a first screen-corner area, a sliding starting point of the second sliding signal being located in a second screen-corner area, and the first screen-corner area being different from the second screen-corner area; and displaying a side toolbar on an upper layer of the user interface according to the first sliding signal and the second sliding signal, at least one shortcut tool control being displayed in the side toolbar.
