    Abstract: This aircraft without wings is designed to allow unmanned flight to any place on earth by simplified construction. This is accomplished by turning the gas turbine engine upward, by means of a geodesic flight organizer, by air mass cooling, and because of its massive amount of power. The VTOL aircraft is never detained by looking for a runway. A conventional jet aircraft needs a long runway to go fast enough for takeoff speed. That's why airports are so big, because conventional jet planes sometimes have to take off at 200 miles per hour for lift. This aircraft shoots straight upwards and then the horizontal stabilizers are turned on. The small-sized box or barrel goes anywhere you want it to go. The aircraft is designed to allow unmanned flight to any place that has air, or the gas of another planet. The aircraft is guided by using a geodesic flight organizer and a gyro. The air mass is split so part goes to the combustion chamber and the other part goes to the thruster for oxygen power.

    Abstract: A flat display panel (MPDP) of the emissive plasma pixel element type for scanned television image reproduction is disclosed yielding bright, efficient and rugged displays for TV applications by use of MEMS and VLSI technology for fabrication. The invention takes a commplete system approach towards designing a high efficiency television display of the mini type for portable applications. A main objective of the present invention is to overcome problems inherent in X-Y matrix scanning of the picture elements in a flat display screen. A simplified addressing method eliminates the need for conventional X-Y matrix addressing of 1200 conductors. By means of the invention a gaseous electric discharge causes a visible light pixel to move progressively and recurrently along a series of adjacent electrodes by application of voltage impulses so as to achieve interlaced scanning. Improved construction technology to achieve very small pixel elements is a feature of the inventive struture.

The barrier curtain comprises aperture zone defining means, means for shaping a fluid flow into a laminar sheet pattern and forcing said fluid across said aperture zone, receiving means having thin-edged vanes located opposite said fluid flow shaping means for receiving the resulting flow, so as to remain laminar, and a fluid supply to said fluid flow shaping means.

    Abstract: A process for fabricating a heating element comprising the following steps: surface protecting a silicon object by forming a protective layer by means of thermal oxidation, CVD or suitable alternative method; selectively etching away said protective layer so as to form a pattern to permit the formation of wire-like regions for a desired heater configuration; exposing the silicon object to halogenated tungsten gas at a reaction temperature of between 250.degree. and 500.degree. centigrade so as to chemically reduce a layer of tungsten onto the exposed silicon; and then coating the composite structure with a corrosion and oxidation resistant layer.
