Abstract: Networks, methods, and devices are provided for SLP instance connection. One method embodiment includes managing SLP instances in a multi-SLEE. The method includes instantiating a first SLP to handle a session with a network based application. A second SLP is instantiated to handle an intelligent peripheral (IP) for use with the network based application. The method includes establishing a connection between the second SLP and the first SLP.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for program output routine management. One method embodiment provides for output routine management in a program. The method includes associating a first identifier with a first type of program output routine and associating a second identifier with a second type of program output routine. The method includes removing the first type of program output routine from the program before the program is deployed in a run time environment.

Abstract: Networks, methods, and devices are provided for handling a session in a telecommunications network. One method embodiment includes receiving a service request to a network device. The service request is associated with a service application. The method includes identifying a protocol type to handle the session based on a database look up. The method includes instantiating a program on the network device appropriate to the protocol type based on identifying the protocol type.

Abstract: Programs, methods and devices are provided for detecting object corruption in a program. One embodiment includes a computing device having a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory includes a program having an embedded detection object associated with a class definition in the program. The detection object contains a predefined data string that can be tested when an object is destroyed.

Abstract: Networks, methods, and devices are provided for handling transaction capabilities application part (TCAP) messages. One device embodiment includes a computing device in a communication network having program instructions storable in a memory and executable by a processor. The program instructions receive a protocol identifier from within a transaction capabilities application part (TCAP) message to identify a particular protocol in which to route the TCAP message. In this embodiment, the instructions also route the TCAP message to the particular protocol.

Abstract: Networks, methods, and devices are provided for handling service logic program (SLP) instances. One method embodiment includes managing SLP instances in a multiple service logic execution environment (multi-SLEE). The method includes, for each SLEE in the multi-SLEE, saving SLEE instance information to a memory in association with creating an SLP instance to invoke a specialized resource function (SRF). The method further includes, upon a SLEE receiving a message from a SRF dialog, performing a look up of SLEE instance information using a dispatcher on the SLEE.
