  • Publication number: 20240147581
Abstract: A thawing device, comprising: a housing; a first heater plate assembly supported by the housing; at least one first heater thermally coupled to the first heater plate assembly; a second heater plate assembly supported by the housing and opposing the first heater plate assembly to define a bag receiving region between opposing faces of the first heater plate assembly and the second heater plate assembly; at least one second heater thermally coupled to the second heater plate assembly; the thawing device being arranged such that at least one of the first heater plate assembly and the second heater plate assembly is moveable relative to the other of the first heater plate assembly and the second heater plate assembly such that the first heater plate assembly and the second heater plate assembly engage with, and apply heat to, respective opposite sides of the at least one bag containing frozen liquid.

  • Publication number: 20230314053
Abstract: A manifold system including a plurality of manifold blocks form a fluid conduit for fluid flow through the manifold system. The manifold blocks are removably coupled together. The manifold block includes a tubular body defining a first fluid passageway having a first flow axis. The first end includes a first female union defined by a first mounting flange and a neck extending from the first mounting flange in along the first flow axis toward the second end of the tubular body defining an opening to the first fluid passageway of the tubular body at the first end. The second end includes a male union defined by an annular flange and a tubular connector extending from the annular flange along the first flow axis to the second end of the tubular body defining an opening to the first fluid passageway at the second end.

  • Publication number: 20230251000
Abstract: A thermoelectric assembly for use with a chiller system includes a reservoir for liquid coolant and a pump to circulate the liquid coolant through the thermoelectric assembly. The thermoelectric assembly includes a thermally conductive block surrounded by a housing and configured to exchange heat with the liquid coolant. Fluid passageways extend between first and second ends of the block with first and second endplates coupled to the respective first and second ends. The first and second endplates enclose respective terminal ends of the fluid passageways to interconnect the fluid passageways at the first and second ends to define a fluid flow loop within the block, with an inlet and an outlet each in fluid communication with the fluid flow loop. A heat sink is thermally coupled to the block and a thermoelectric device is in thermal communication with the block and the heat sink.

  • Publication number: 20110233126
Abstract: A reverse osmosis pressure vessel end cap assembly includes a seal plate positioned within a pressure vessel shell, with one or more load plates positioned to retain the seal plate in position. A load ring is captured or expanded by the load plates to secure the load ring into a channel in the interior surface of the pressure vessel shell. The end cap assembly thus provides secure yet easily removable access to the pressure vessel, capable of withstanding the high pressures of a reverse osmosis filtration system. Various exemplary embodiments of the assembly are provided.
