  • Patent number: 12070338
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to methods for analyzing outcomes of illnesses, such as COVID-19, on living organisms. More particularly, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods for identifying risk of illness based on genetic markers and other available data, predicting results of mass exposure to an Illness based on a populations genomes and other available data, and providing indicators and methods of visualization for probability of illness in any living organism.

  • Publication number: 20240249285
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for centralized authentication of financial transactions. An authentication sewer receives, from a client device, information for a financial transaction. In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, the authentication server executes in a kernel-based environment at least one authentication step based on the information. For example, in some implementations, the authentication server generates a PIN block and transmits the PIN block to a financial gateway, along with a request for the financial transaction. Notably, the client device does not need to perform the authentication steps executed by the authentication server, such as generating the PIN block for example. This can enhance security of the transaction system because information such as a terminal key used to generate the PIN block remains centralized and not on a client device where it could possibly be stolen by a criminal.

  • Publication number: 20210313067
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to methods for analyzing survivability of illnesses, such as COVID-19. More particularly, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods for identifying correlations and influencing factors between genetic markers, lifestyle, and other available data that lead to predictions of the effectiveness of medical treatments, predicting results of mass exposure to an illness based on a population's genomes and other available data, and providing indicators and methods of visualization for survivability of a viral infection or cancer in any living organism.

  • Publication number: 20190243387
Abstract: An aerial device is provided. The aerial device includes a processor and a memory that includes instructions configured to cause the processor to perform certain operations when the processor executes the instructions. The operations may include receiving a first signal indicative of a first position of the aerial device. The operations may also include generating, based on the first signal and based on a randomly generated sequence, a second signal configured to actuate flight hardware of the aerial device to a second position.

  • Publication number: 20090061405
Abstract: An abdominal torso element for a doll incorporates a receiving cavity with a first rotational element mounted in the torso element having an enlarged abdominal surface representing a pregnant abdomen and incorporating an associated fetal cavity. The first rotational element is positionable in a first closed position with the enlarged abdominal surface exterior to the torso element simulating pregnancy and a second open position with the enlarged abdominal surface received in the receiving cavity. A second rotational element is nested within the first rotational element and has an outer surface representing a non-pregnant abdomen. The second rotational element is positionable in a first open position and a second closed position with the non-pregnant abdominal surface exposed simulating a non-pregnant condition. A fetus/baby model is removably received within the fetal cavity and can be viewed and removed/inserted with the first and second rotational elements in the open position.

  • Publication number: 20070107288
Abstract: A frame for insertion of a photograph having a folded structural element with a first portion incorporating a backing and a second portion connected to the first portion having two spaced lateral elements folded onto and rising from the backing. The first portion and second portion cooperatively form an aperture perpendicular to the spaced lateral elements for receiving a photograph to be held between the spaced lateral elements. A face structural element overlays the two spaced lateral elements and is spaced from the backing thereby to engage and support the photograph opposite the backing.

  • Publication number: 20050223611
Abstract: A picture frame assembly enables the user to hang picture frames with any desired orientation. When many frames are to be hung, a mounting track having a raised rail is affixed to a wall. A support disc member has fixed and spring biased teeth to grip the rail at a desired location. Mounting means on picture frames cooperate with an arcuate mounting surface on the support disc for mounting the frames with a desired orientation. A support disk may also be mounted directly on the wall. Side bars may be employed as frame side extenders to adjust the outer configuration of a frame.
