  • Publication number: 20240013327
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing an organization's agreements and possible IP assets. The system provides users from the organization a user interface in which to enter ideas, concepts, and/or designs related to one or more projects, which can include products, services, transactions and ideas. These entries can then be stored, managed, and mined as necessary by the organization. In addition, the system allows for the storage of the organization's agreements and for the analysis of such agreements to flag/identify potential issues with such agreements. Machine learning and artificial intelligence-based methods and subsystems can be used to analyze these agreements. Experts in the various relevant fields provide the logic and samples against which the agreements are to be assessed. Multi-tenant embodiments of the system permit organization users, expert users, and third parties to access, modify and/or review data related to the projects.

Abstract: The present disclosures provides isolated or purified compounds, each of which bind to a metal atom. Generally, the compounds are small in size (e.g, molecular weight of less than about 1 kDa) and peptidic in nature, inasmuch as the compounds comprise amino acids. In some embodiments, the compound comprises a structure of Formula I: M1-P1-M2-P2 wherein each of P1 and P2 is a peptide comprising at least two amino acids, M1 is a first metal binding moiety comprising a substituted imidazolone ring, M2 is a second metal binding moiety comprising a substituted oxazolone ring, and wherein M1 and M2 bind to a single metal atom. Also provided are related complexes, conjugates, cells which synthesize the compounds of the present disclosures, substantially homogenous cultures thereof, kits and compositions, and methods of making or using the materials of the present disclosures.

  • Publication number: 20090049108
Abstract: A method and system are provided for automatic workflow versioning. A workflow database can include metadata describing the relationships between data files, a workflow association and version/timestamp information such that relationships can be tracked against time and file versions. A system is provided to visualize a workflow and how it changes over time. A workflow navigator can be provided to allow a user to graphically “slide” back and forth in time between different workflow versions or points. Date/Time stamp information can be displayed and the workflow relationships and graphical thumbnails can change as the user hits dates/times where changes occurred. Further controls can be provided that allow the user to choose a previous version of a workflow from the timeline, and to bring forward in time the associated files and relationship information.

  • Publication number: 20090024674
Abstract: A method and system are provided to automatically and transparently version files across many desktop applications without requiring the user to take specific action to cause the versioning to occur. Previous versions and versioning information can both be stored using hard links, and the versioning information can be used to determine a version history for a file. Embodiments of the present invention do not require applications to be modified to support this versioning method. Further, using one approach, the application does not even know that the versioning is occurring. The present invention provides an automatic versioning solution that is completely transparent to the user, which causes overwrite operations to be seamlessly co-opted into versioning operations which retain previous document versions instead of overwriting them.

  • Publication number: 20070067332
Abstract: A distributed file system makes use of peer resources to store file segments that can be later re-assembled to reconstitute the original file. Encryption using public keys can be employed to provide access control to a select set of users, and file deletion can be accomplished by removing the file listing, including the location of the various segments, from a table of contents. Storing each file segment on a plurality of nodes allows for redundant file storage in the event of a node being unavailable when a file is retrieved.

  • Patent number: 7103550
Abstract: A method of initiating a data session between a wireless device and an information network over a wireless communication link includes establishing a voice session between the wireless device and a voice recognition application over the wireless communication link. A speech request is conveyed to the voice recognition application for information to be obtained from the information network. The voice recognition application converts the speech request into search criteria. A search of the information network is then initiated using the speech criteria and the voice session is terminated. A data session is then established with the wireless device and the search results are pushed to the wireless device over the wireless communications link.

  • Publication number: 20060003689
Abstract: A centralized network management system for a network including remote in-motion wireless nodes comprising a multiplicity of remote logging systems operating on each of a multiplicity of wireless network routers, a log parser means for parsing the information provided by each of said multiplicity of remote logging systems and generating a fact stream, a system profile database, a fact checker means for checking said fact stream against said system profile database and a notifier. The system profile database contains information on the GPS location of a vehicle operator's depot, GPS coordinates of known dead-zones for each wireless network link utilized, normal shutdown time of the vehicle route, and times the system is expected to be up. The system combines this time-of-day and location information to help make qualitative determinations about the effective state of the managed network.

  • Publication number: 20050259598
Abstract: A method of automatically forming a wireless local area network (WLAN) within a group of rail cars in a train, where each rail car in the group has an access point/router. The method comprises the steps of discovering nodes associated with each rail car for inclusion in the WLAN by discovering authorized access point/routers; grouping the discovered nodes into an inter-car bridge group; connecting all nodes in the inter-car bridge group to form the WLAN; and connecting the WLAN to a wide area network (WAN) to share connectivity to the WAN with each of the nodes in the inter-car bridge group.
