Abstract: In a rules based management system for deriving multiple catalogs from one or more ancestor catalogs, a method for allowing a customer to dynamically set up and save a configurable subset of the customer's catalog. The method does not require intervention by administrators of the one or more ancestor catalogs, saving the customer time and effort. The subset is identified as an offering released by the customer, and can be saved as an item in the customer's catalog, or saved as a sub-catalog. Products available in the customer's catalog and the subset include goods, services and capabilities. Products sold from the subset are accounted for in the same manner as products sold from the customer's regular catalog. The subset of the customer's catalog is set up and saved in real-time or near real-time, making the subset immediately available for access and ordering.

A shielding body is mounted on the chassis. A pair of spaced apart contact members are attached to the shielding body. A main spring member is attached to at least one of the contact members. The main spring member includes an elongated beam offset from the contact members and a plurality of spring fingers interconnecting the beam and at least one of the contact members.

Abstract: A cable management system (10) is disclosed for coupling and retaining cables (16) for rack-mounted electronic components. The cable management system (10) includes a cable arm (12) that can pivot between an extended position and a collapsed position to accommodate movement in the rack-mounted component. Coupled to the cable arm are cable retainers (14). Each cable retainer includes a platform (46) and prongs (42). Each prong includes a stem (48) and a tapered projection (54). The combination of the platform (46), and the stem (48) and tapered projection (54) of adjacent prongs (42) forms a cavity for receiving a cable (16). The cable arm includes a number of slots in the supports of the cable arm for receiving latches, locks, or other fasteners of the cable retainer (14) for coupling the cable retainer (14) to the cable arm (12).

Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting a computer chassis (12). A rack-mounted computer system is provided that includes at least two posts (16). A rail (20) is attached to each post (16). Each of the rails (20) includes two ribs (24) that together define a slot (26). One portion (28) of the slot (26) has a greater separation between the ribs (24). A computer component chassis (12) that needs to be mounted includes two faces (100,102) on its outer surface. Each face has at least one protuberance (104). The protuberances (104) are shaped to fit at least partially into the slot (26) of one of the rails (20) at the portion (28) having greater separation.

Abstract: Terminal straps are positioned within a battery container via multiple formations formed integral to the battery container. The unique formations provide for positive location of the terminal straps relative to the battery container and the battery container lid simplifying the manufacturing process and improving product quality.
