  • Patent number: 11771266
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved spatula device. The improved spatula device is designed to be placed in a baking pan before baking a food item, and is used to remove a first piece of a baked product or any other food item easily and conveniently from the baking pan, without damaging or disturbing other food items. The device includes a spatula portion, an elongated handle attached to the top edge of the spatula portion, and a flat and planar working end in the form of a planar surface extending perpendicularly from the bottom edge of the spatula portion. A piece of the baked batter or food item can be lifted easily, without disturbing nearby pieces, by lifting the improved spatula device using the handle. The improved spatula device can be used with any oven and any pan in which a batter, such as a cake batter, brownie batter or cookie batter is poured into the baking pan.

  • Publication number: 20090184703
Abstract: An compensated voltage transformer includes a voltage transformer. The voltage transformer includes a primary winding that receives a supply voltage, a meter winding that generates a first voltage based on a first turns ratio between the primary winding and the meter winding, and a power winding that generates a second voltage based on a second turns ratio of the primary winding to the power winding. A current transformer includes a primary winding and a secondary winding. The primary winding carries a load current that flows through the power winding and the secondary winding connects to the meter winding.

  • Publication number: 20060282965
Abstract: A cleaning head for use with a floor cleaning machine comprises first and second cleaning tools, at least one motor and a cleaning tool support. The at least one motor is configured to respectively drive rotation of the first and second cleaning tools about first and second horizontal axes. The first and second cleaning tools each have an exterior cleaning surface configured to engage the floor during floor cleaning operations. The cleaning tool support is configured to support the first and second cleaning tools for movement of the first and second horizontal axes relative to each other in a plane that is transverse to the first and second horizontal axes. Another embodiment of the invention is directed to a floor cleaning machine that includes embodiments of the cleaning head.

  • Publication number: 20060282975
Abstract: A hard floor sweeping and scrubbing machine includes a mobile body comprising a frame supported on wheels for travel over a surface, a motorized cleaning head, a waste hopper, a hopper lift and a vacuum squeegee. The motorized cleaning head is attached to the mobile body and is configured to perform sweeping and scrubbing operations on the surface. The waste hopper is positioned on a rear side of the cleaning head and is configured to receive waste discharged from the cleaning head during the surface sweeping operations. The hopper lift is configured to raise the waste hopper from an operating position, in which the waste hopper is positioned adjacent the cleaning head, to a dumping position, in which the waste hopper is positioned to dump waste collected in the waste hopper. In one embodiment, the vacuum squeegee is attached to the hopper lift. Also disclosed is a method of cleaning a surface using embodiments of the machine.

  • Patent number: 5796822
Abstract: A mobile station (102) comprises a body (106), a display (112), a keypad (114), a retractable antenna (108), a microphone (116), and a rotatable earpiece (110). The body (106) defines a front surface (118), a first side edge (122), a second side edge (124), a top end (126), and a bottom end (128). The display (112) and the keypad (114) are outwardly directed from the front surface (118). The microphone (116) is outwardly directed from the first side edge (122) and positioned near the bottom end (128). The retractable antenna (108) extends from the top end (126) and is positioned along an axis of the second side edge (124). The rotatable earpiece (110) is rotatably mounted along an axis of the first side edge (122) and positioned near the top end (126). When in a first position, the rotatable earpiece (110) is substantially planar with the body (106) and outwardly directed away from the front surface (118).
