    Abstract: A measuring tape includes a distance recorder on the side of the tape body and is capable of recording information in feet, inches, and 1/16 inches. Three separate finger-controlled slide, indicator buttons are provided for each of the three distance scales. The slide indicators may be arranged linearly or concentrically.
