Abstract: A box-in-a-bag liquid soap container system for use in a soap dispenser where the container cavity has hinge point structure and sidewall strakes that interfere with the use of the full volume of the container cavity. The invention consists of a box sized to fit the full dimensions of the container cavity, with a collapsible plastic bag of liquid soap inside, where the lower front corners of the box are perforated and removable so as to provide clearance for the intruding hinge point structure, and strips of the sidewalls and back wall of the box are perforated and removable to provide clearance for the sidewall strakes. The box, with the perforations torn out fits the full size of the container cavity, and the bag conforms to the intruding hinge point structure and sidewall strakes, thus significantly increasing the liquid capacity over prior art containers sized to fit between the strakes.

Abstract: An improved pump tip for a fluid dispenser system using a pump tube, such as common hand soap dispensers, the improvement being a longer pump tip with a longitudinally-extended exterior surface that works with a correspondingly shorter pump tube. The longer exterior surface enables the pump tip to be installed directly into the lower tube locator recess of existing dispensers in close fit and direct contact with the vertical structural wall of the recess, thereby providing a pump tube lower end termination with improved security, rigidity and lateral support of the tip and tube, greater security for the exposed pump tip nozzle, and enabling use of shorter pump tubes of larger diameter without need for a necked-down lower end.

Abstract: A liquid dispenser for dispensing liquid from a container that includes a pump having an upper fitment connected to a pump tube and hence to a pump tip. The dispenser has upper and lower fitment recesses, structure for closing the lower recess, vertical pressure support wall, and pump lever that collectively constrain the pump tube to a precise operating envelope for improved pump performance and dispenser reliability. The three-section lower fitment recess provides a mechanism to grip or hold in the pump tip, and prevents lateral and longitudinal movement of the pump tip. The lower recess may have a hard interface with the extended shank of such pump tips. The dispenser has a hard, smooth, seamless exterior cover to resist build-up of scum and facilitate cleaning, closely-fitting mating edges and a latching mechanism between the cover and the back plate to resist infiltration of water.
