  • Publication number: 20260079617
Abstract: Systems and methods of managing an event on a data organizer application are disclosed. One method may include: receiving, using a processor associated with the data organization application, a selection from a user to transition an interface of an electronic data organizer of the data organizer application from a first view to a second view; identifying, using the processor, a type designation associated with each event contained in the electronic data organizer; and reorganizing, using the processor and based on the selection, a visual display of each event of the interface to correspond with the second view as dictated by the type designation.

  • Publication number: 20250362794
Abstract: A computer system for managing metrics on a data management application is provided. The computer system may include: at least one processor; a user interface configured to present an electronic data management application and a metrics toolbar; and at least one memory storing instructions that are executable by the at least one processor, wherein the instructions cause the at least one processor to: receive a user selection of a metric type from a predefined set of metric types; receive one or more configuration parameters associated with the selected metric type; and generate a visual representation of the configured metric within a metrics toolbar presented on the electronic data management application, wherein the visual representation comprises a computed metric value based on scheduled event data and the configuration parameters.

  • Publication number: 20250363460
Abstract: Systems and methods of managing an event on a data organizer application are disclosed. One method may include: detecting an event associated with an electronic data organizer of a user; presenting a control menu associated with the event, the control menu comprising an event attendance toggle; receiving input directed to the event attendance toggle; assigning, based on the received input, the event to a first layer or a second layer of the electronic data organizer, wherein events in the first layer are positioned in front of events in the second layer; designating an availability state of the user for a duration of the event, wherein the availability state corresponds to an available state or an unavailable state; displaying the event in the first layer or the second layer based on the received input; and broadcasting the availability state of the user to at least one other user.

  • Patent number: 8223747
Abstract: Techniques for using instant messaging preferences and settings are used for predictive communications, including routing of data traffic, are provided. A voice call can be routed over a packet-based network if a voice network is not available, or for other reasons. In addition to voice calls, embodiments of the invention can route video calls, multimedia communications and other communications. In some implementations, an instant message presence can be queried for in determining how to route a voice-over-IP or PSTN telephone call. Thus, a call might be routed to a computer or computing device unrelated to the location of the PSTN telephone line being called, if an associated instant messenger presence is detected on that computer or computing device.

  • Patent number: 7634072
Abstract: Techniques for using billing services to manage a personal address book are provided. The techniques comprise receiving a call detail record (CDR) for a plain old telephone system (POTS) or a voice-over-IP (VOIP) call by a user. The CDR is created by a telecommunication carrier that routed the call. The CDR may be stored on a telecommunications server associated with the telecommunications carrier. Address information for the call is determined from the CDR. This address information is added to the personal address book for the user. This address information may be available for the user when using an IM client.

  • Patent number: 7240214
Abstract: A system providing real-time communication over an electronic communication network between two or more users includes a client application associated with each user, a first authentication application having authentication information for at least one user and associated with at least one of the client applications, and a messaging service application maintaining the connection status of all of the users. The first authentication application and the client applications associated with the first authentication application reside on a first private network in communication with a public network. A second authentication application associated with at least one of the client applications and having authentication information for at least one other user reside on a second private network in communication with public network. The authentication applications can receive authentication information from directory services of their private networks.
