  • Patent number: 11940848
Abstract: An electronic device display may have pixels formed from crystalline semiconductor light-emitting diode dies, organic light-emitting diodes, or other pixel structures. The pixels may be formed on a display panel substrate. A display panel may extend continuously across the display or multiple display panels may be tiled in two dimensions to cover a larger display area. Interconnect substrates may have outwardly facing contacts that are electrically shorted to corresponding inwardly facing contacts such as inwardly facing metal pillars associated with the display panels. The interconnect substrates may be supported by glass layers. Integrated circuits may be embedded in the display panels and/or in the interconnect substrates. A display may have an active area with pixels that includes non-spline pixels in a non-spline display portion located above a straight edge of the display and spline pixel in a spline display portion located above a curved edge of the display.

  • Patent number: 10902660
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for providing an animated presentation. The method includes identifying a geographic area and identifying solar flux for the geographic area. A plurality of images of the geographic area then is generated to display the solar flux. Each image in the plurality of images displays solar flux at different points in time of a day. The animated presentation is generated by displaying the plurality of images in chronological order with a transition between images in the plurality of images and provided for display on a display to a user.

  • Publication number: 20170181301
Abstract: A holding structure of an electronic storage and transmission device of the present invention has a storage and transmission body and a holding base. The storage and transmission body connects to a transmission connector through a connecting wire. The holding base has a receiving slot formed on a top surface of the storage and transmission body, and the transmission connector can be fixed in the receiving slot. Due to only an end portion of the connecting wire fixed on the holding base, the connecting wire can be fully expanded, operation freedom and connection angle are thereby increased; and by disposing the holding base, the transmission connector can be directly fixed in the holding base, so that a folded volume of the electronic storage and transmission device is reduced. Additionally, the electronic storage and transmission device can have functions of storing data and charging electronic devices at the same time.

  • Publication number: 20160378373
Abstract: A data backup method and a data recovery method by using a cable with storage function are disclosed in the present invention. When an electronic device is connected with a cable, the data backup or data recovery can be processed. Since the cable is required when the electronic device needs to be charged or be connected with a computer, the user will carry the cable all the time and the data backup and the data recovery can be executed at anytime and anywhere. The drawbacks that the data has not been backed up for a long time and the backup data is very different from the data within the electronic device can be avoided. The convenience of the data backup and the data recovery is increased.
