  • Publication number: 20240065626
Abstract: A device for detecting spatial differences in fluid level changes in a tissue of a patient may include a support structure for securing the device to a body part of the patient, a processing element operably connected to the support structure, a wireless networking interface operably connected to the support structure and in communication with the processing element and an external computing device via a network, a first transmission module operably connected to the support structure and in communication with the processing element, a second transmission module and a third transmission module operably connected to the support structure and in communication with the processing element. When activated, the first transmission module transmits a first time varying magnetic field through the tissue of the patient. The second and third transmission modules, which are spatially separated from one another, receive first and second versions, respectively, of the first time varying magnetic field.

  • Publication number: 20120097561
Abstract: An optical disc advertising and security method that includes the use of a promotional label that is coaxially aligned and adhesively attached to the top surface of an optical disc. The promotional label includes an upper label layer and a lower label layer. Printed on the top layer surface of each label layer is promotional indicia. In one embodiment, the upper label layer is slightly larger in diameter or the same diameter as the lower label layer so that the lower label is covered and unable to be removed directly from the optical disc when the container is initially opened by a consumer. In a second embodiment, the promotional label is made of two label layers permanently adhesively attached together with a RFID tag disposed between them.

  • Publication number: 20070193899
Abstract: An optical disc media book container that includes a surrounding transparent film that protects advertising labels disposed over the front and rear surfaces of the book container and one or more advertising insert members placed over the front and rear surfaces of the book container and inside the film. Each insert member includes an upper tab section that extends upward from the upper edge of the book container. When the book container is placed upright on a shelf, the tab is visible to a customer. Printed on the tab is advertising or promotional indicia. In the preferred embodiment, the insert member is designed to be selectively removed from the book container by the customer and may be used in a promotional scheme offered by the distributor or seller.

  • Patent number: 6614750
Abstract: A multimedia disk security system which uses a removable center plug that fits into the central hole formed on the disk body. Attached or formed inside the center plug is a EAS tag, the presence or absence of which is detectable to a standard electronic article surveillance detector. In one embodiment, an optional main label may be attached over the entire disk body to hide the EAS tag.
