The robotic sentinel includes a memory for storing one or more rules each configured to identify an alert condition for the space based on the first and/or second conditions in the space, a communications module configured to communicate with a remote device over a network, and a controller operatively coupled to the sensors, the memory, and the communications module. The controller is configured to apply the one or more rules to the first and second detected conditions in the space to identify one or more alert conditions and determine what action is required by the robotic sentinel, and if action is required, command the robotic sentinel to travel to a location of the alert condition.

    Abstract: A vehicle door system includes doors with a door module attached to a hinge module, which is attached to the vehicle body. The door module includes a latch mechanism configured to engage a striker pin of the vehicle body, with a pawl that pivots to accommodate a misalignment with the striker pin during a door closing operation, with the latch mechanism shifting following engagement with the striker pin. A door check mechanism includes a permanent magnet and a steel plate. Activation of the permanent magnet shifts the steel plate from a closed position to an open position permitting the hinge module to move from a locked position. An interface between doors includes a primary and secondary seal each having a constant cross section, with filler pieces disposed between the door and the secondary seal along a portion of the interface.

    Abstract: A transportable enclosure comprises a sheet of flexible material defining a closed loop, with the sheet defining an opening therethrough. The closed loop of the sheet is configured to be rotated by an actuator for selectively aligning the opening with an access position, such as a port in a side panel of a housing, for loading or unloading cargo from the interior space. A drive pulley is coupled to the actuator for rotating the sheet, and a belt extends along the closed loop to engage the drive pulley. The actuator may be located within the transportable enclosure or outside of the transportable enclosure. One or more guides are configured to hold the closed loop of the sheet outwardly while allowing the sheet to rotate. The transportable enclosure may be used with a ground or an aerial vehicle, which may be a vehicle configured for unmanned and/or autonomous operation.

Further aspects relate to a user communication device, a computer program product, a central server and a medical test-kit for use with the proposed method.
