  • Publication number: 20240379012
Abstract: A method includes obtaining information associated with requests to access at least one shared resource. The requests are associated with multiple requestors wishing to access or use the at least one shared resource. The method also includes generating at least one expected distribution of requests. The at least one expected distribution of requests defines one or more expected or desired characteristics of the requests. The method further includes granting one or more first ones of the requests in response to determining that the one or more first ones of the requests have the one or more expected or desired characteristics. In addition, the method includes denying or demoting one or more second ones of the requests in response to determining that the one or more second ones of the requests do not have the one or more expected or desired characteristics.

  • Patent number: 9223045
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to compare the size of a target from the first sensor information with the size of the target from the second sensor information to determine whether an anomaly exists based upon the size comparison. In one embodiment, the size of the target from the first sensor information is affected by dielectric constants for at least one material of interest associated with the target.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 24, 2012
Date of Patent: December 29, 2015
    Assignee: Raytheon Company
    Inventor: Waseem Naqvi
  • Patent number: 8566314
Abstract: An information processing system and method for gathering and interpreting information includes capturing information from at least one of a plurality of information streams/sensors wherein the information includes video, audio, seismic, radio frequency (RF), and/or text then applying a standardized tag to an event at a predetermined time or over a predetermined period of time and storing the standardized tag in a repository which can be interrogated rapidly for situation/scene understanding. The information processing system and method include providing a plurality of segmentation algorithms, determining the type of information to be processed and selecting one or more of the segmentation algorithms to process the information based upon the type of information to be processed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 4, 2008
Date of Patent: October 22, 2013
