  • Publication number: 20250145457
Abstract: A method for ammonia (NH3) decomposition to hydrogen (H2) and nitrogen (N2) includes introducing and passing a H2-containing feed gas stream into a reactor containing an industrial waste-based nickel (Ni-SMR) catalyst at a temperature of 500 to 900° C. to form a reduced Ni-SMR catalyst; introducing and passing an NH3-containing feed gas stream through the reactor in contact with the reduced Ni-SMR catalyst at a temperature of 100 to 1000° C. thereby converting at least a portion of the NH3 to H2 and regenerating the Ni-SMR catalyst particles to form a regenerated Ni-SMR catalyst, and producing a residue gas stream leaving the reactor; and separating the H2 from the residue gas stream to generate a H2-containing product gas stream.

  • Publication number: 20250074768
Abstract: A method for producing hydrogen (H2) from methane (CH4) includes introducing a feed gas stream containing CH4 into a reactor containing a nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co)-based titania supported (NCT) catalyst; passing the feed gas stream through the reactor in contact with the NCT catalyst at a temperature of 600 to 1000° C. to convert CH4 to carbon (C) and H2, and produce an H2-containing gas stream leaving the reactor; and separating H2 from the H2-containing gas stream. The method has a CH4 conversion of up to 95% of the initial weight of CH4 and a H2 yield of up to 90% based on the CH4 conversion.

  • Publication number: 20250073682
Abstract: A method for producing propylene (C3H8) via oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of propane includes introducing a propane-containing feed gas stream into a reactor containing an alumina-supported Ga2O3/La2O3 catalyst comprising Ga2O3 particles at least partially disposed on surfaces of a matrix comprising rough and irregular-sized La2O3 and alumina particles; passing the propane-containing feed gas stream through the reactor in contact with the alumina supported Ga2O3/La2O3 catalyst at a temperature of 500 to 600° C. to convert at least a portion of the propane to propylene (C3H6) and produce a propylene-containing gas stream leaving the reactor; and separating the propylene from the propylene-containing gas stream. The method has a propane conversion of up to 95% based on an initial weight of the propane in the propane-containing feed gas stream, and a propylene yield of up to 60% based on the propane conversion.

  • Patent number: 12162000
Abstract: A method for generating hydrogen (H2) includes introducing a H2-containing feed gas stream into a reactor containing a red mud-supported nickel (Ni-SRM) catalyst including Ni-SRM catalyst particles. The method further includes passing the H2-containing feed gas stream through the reactor to contact the H2-containing feed gas stream with the Ni-SRM catalyst particles at a temperature of 500° C. to 700° C. to form an activated Ni-SRM catalyst and terminating the introducing the H2-containing feed gas stream. The method further includes introducing and passing CH4-containing feed gas stream through the reactor to contact the CH4-containing feed gas stream with the activated Ni-SRM catalyst at a temperature of 600° C. to 1000° C. thereby converting at least a portion of the CH4 to carbon and H2.

  • Patent number: 8203395
Abstract: Various apparatus and methods of addressing crosstalk in a circuit board are disclosed. In one aspect, a method of manufacturing is provided that includes forming a first layer of a circuit board with a first signal trace and forming a second layer of the circuit board with a second signal trace. A first guard trace is formed on the first layer and offset laterally from the first signal trace but at least partially overlapping the second signal trace and a second guard trace is formed on the second layer and offset laterally from the second signal trace but at least partially overlapping the first signal trace.
