Abstract: An adhesion promotion device is disclosed, which is capable of reducing risk factors of an anastomotic leakage after surgery. The adhesion promotion device has a main body portion disposed between biological organs serving as a joint object. The main body portion has a first region and a second region formed along an outer edge of the first region. The second region includes an adhesion promotion portion that promotes adhesion of a biological tissue. The first region includes a holding portion having a holding force with respect to the biological tissue which is stronger than that of the adhesion promotion portion.
