    Abstract: The rotating electrical machine of the present invention includes: a magnet holder made of a non-magnetic material, which is formed by coupling a columnar portion for retaining the permanent magnet in a circumferential direction, and an annular portion for covering each axial side surface of the permanent magnet. The magnet holder includes, on an outer diameter side of both circumferential side surfaces of the columnar portion, engaging portions which engage with respective locking portions of the magnet cover, and includes, on an inner diameter side of each of both the circumferential side surfaces of the columnar portion, an extending portion extending along an inner peripheral surface of the magnet cover with a clearance (D) with respect to the inner peripheral surface of the magnet cover.
