Abstract: A control device to be mounted on a vehicle includes a memory configured to store information related to priority levels of a plurality of applications that implements driving assistance functions and a processor. The processor is configured to receive, from the applications, application requests and identifiers that identify the respective applications. The processor is configured to arbitrate a plurality of the application requests based on the information and the identifiers. The processor is configured to output a request to an actuator based on a result of arbitration of the application requests.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive a data set including a requested acceleration as information representing movement of a vehicle in a front-rear direction and any one of a steering angle, a yaw rate, and a rotation radius as information representing movement of the vehicle in a lateral direction from each of a plurality of applications, an arbitration unit configured to perform arbitration of information representing the movement of the vehicle in the front-rear direction and arbitration of information representing the movement of the vehicle in the lateral direction based on a plurality of the data sets received by the receiver, and a first output unit configured to output instruction information for driving an actuator based on an arbitration result of the arbitration unit.

Abstract: The apparatus determines whether or not the preceding vehicle is travelling in the overtaking lane at a speed lower than a travelling speed of the host vehicle. In a case where it is determined that the preceding vehicle is travelling in the overtaking lane at the speed lower than the travelling speed of the host vehicle, the apparatus performs the travel control of overtaking the preceding vehicle under a predetermined condition. In this way, the travelling of overtaking the preceding vehicle is performed, and then, by the travelling at the speed in line with the travelling speed of the preceding vehicle, it is possible to suppress the deterioration of the traffic flow on the travelling path.
