  • Publication number: 20230193916
Abstract: An electric compressor includes a housing; a rotary shaft; an impeller connected to at least a first end portion of the rotary shaft in an axial direction of the rotary shaft, of the first end portion and a second end portion of the rotary shaft in the axial direction; and a pair of air bearings supporting the rotary shaft such that the rotary shaft is rotatable relative to the housing. A load on the first end portion is larger than a load on the second end portion. The pair of air bearings includes a first air bearing, and a second air bearing supporting the rotary shaft at a position closer to the second end portion of the rotary shaft than the first air bearing is. A load carrying capacity of the first air bearing is larger than a load carrying capacity of the second bearing.

  • Patent number: 9705343
Abstract: A voltage equalizer includes voltage detectors that detect voltages of respective cells, switches, and a controller that repeatedly sets a lowest voltage among voltages detected by one of the voltage detectors to be a target voltage Vt1 or Vt2 in each of the battery packs, and that repeatedly turns on/off each of the switches such that the voltages of the cells other than the cell having the lowest voltage become the target voltage Vt1 or Vt2 in each of the battery packs, until the controller determines on the basis of the respective voltages detected by the voltage detectors that a cell balance control operation does not need to be performed.

  • Publication number: 20150171643
Abstract: A feeding apparatus includes a feeding unit configured to feed power in a non-contact manner to the charging apparatus mounted on a vehicle and a feeding control unit that receives vehicle detection information from a sensor configured to transmit vehicle detection information when a vehicle is detected. The apparatus executes control so that the feeding unit provided in the feeding apparatus feeds first power determined for each feeding apparatus so as to specify the feeding apparatus, transmits charging start information indicating a start of charging when feeding unit specifying information containing information to indicate the power level at which power is received from the feeding unit is received from the charging apparatus, and the received power level is determined to be within a specific power range, and executes control so that the feeding unit feeds second power in order to charge a battery unit of the charging apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20140319967
Abstract: The oscillation actuator of the invention uses ultrasonic vibrations generated in a stator to rotate a rotor, and a pre-load member causes a 30 MPa contact pressure between the rotor and the stator. Furthermore, a supply body impregnated with oil is provided inside a recess section in the stator, such that the contact section between the rotor and the stator is lubricated by oil supplied from the supply body. As the oil with which the supply body is impregnated, a fluorine-based oil having a kinetic viscosity at 40° C. of VG 400 according to the ISO viscosity classification is selected.
