Abstract: Provided is a sliding component having a low coefficient of friction and capable of exerting stable sliding characteristics from the initial stage of sliding, and a manufacturing method capable of easily manufacturing the sliding component. A sliding component (1) includes an iron substrate (10), in which graphite particles (13) are dispersed in an iron base (11), and a tin coating (20) formed on the iron substrate (10), the tin coating (20) including tin as a main material. The graphite particles (13) of the sliding component (1) are exposed through the tin coating (20). The manufacturing method includes: a preparation step of preparing an iron substrate (10) including graphite particles (13) dispersed in an iron base (11); and a film forming step of forming a tin coating (20) on the surface of the iron substrate (10), the tin coating (20) including tin as a main material. The film forming step forms the tin coating (20) so that the graphite particles (13) are exposed through the tin coating (20).

  • Publication number: 20140239090
Abstract: In the present invention, a cylinder chamber is provided in a main injector body having a nozzle that injects fuel. In the cylinder chamber, a command piston for driving a needle that opens and closes the nozzle is reciprocably received. A cleaning liquid supply pathway for supplying cleaning liquid and a cleaning liquid discharge pathway for discharging cleaning liquid are connected to the cylinder chamber. As a result, adhesive accretions in the cylinder chamber of the main injector body are discharged out of the cylinder chamber together with the cleaning liquid, and therefore it is possible to prevent a negative effect resulting from the adhesive accretions without using an additive or the like.

  • Publication number: 20120031083
Abstract: An apparatus for treating Diesel engine exhaust gas includes a filter unit which is located in the upstream side of a flow passage in a Diesel engine exhaust duct, the filter unit being composed of a plural number of filter chambers which are thermally insulated from each other and selectively opened for admission of the exhaust gas. Located in the downstream side is a nitrogen oxide treatment section to induce reactions between nitrogen oxides and reductant gas components of the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas is admitted into one of the filter chambers in one time period to trap particulate material on a filter in a filter chamber while letting reductant gas components of the exhaust gas pass through toward the nitrogen oxide treatment section which is located in the downstream side. In the nitrogen oxide treatment section, reducing reactions are induced between nitrogen oxides and reductant gas components of the exhaust gas in the presence of a nitrogen oxide reduction catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20040042036
Abstract: After parallel data is converted into serial data by the converter 402, the serial data is converted into an optical signal by the photoelectric converter 404, and this optical signal is incident on the optical fiber 410. When the optical signal passes in the optical fiber 410, it is received by the photoelectric converter 424 on the opposite side and converted into serial data. After this serial data is converted into parallel data by the converter 422, it is inputted onto the video board 427. When the optical transmission technique is adopted, even if a plurality of functional modules are arranged distant from each other, the problems of electromagnetic interference, electro magnetic emission, adaptability to the electromagnetic environment and deformation of a wave-form are not caused.

  • Publication number: 20040042039
Abstract: An image forming apparatus is divided into detachable modules such as an IOT module and an EXIT module. A circuit architecture is constructed in which a main module circuit containing a master control part for controlling the whole system and a plurality of sub-module circuits containing slave control parts controlled by the master control part are separately handled according to the respective functional parts in the apparatus. Each module circuit includes a CPU on which a common operating system is installed, and an I/O part which interfaces with functional operation parts which operate corresponding to the dedicated functional parts. The CPU and the I/O part are mounted on daughter boards, which are removably attached to a mother board. A circuit-attribute select controller part 150 selects a main module circuit or sub-module circuits.

  • Patent number: 5253983
Abstract: An axial piston pump, for pumping an operating oil in a hydraulic system, comprises a rotary cylinder block having a plurality of cylinder bores formed therein and disposed at regular intervals around a rotational axis thereof. Each bore is opened at a bottom thereof through a hole formed in an end wall of the cylinder block, a plurality of pistons being slidably received in the bores, respectively. Further, the pump comprises a fixed slant cam plate engaged with the pistons during a rotation of the block, for causing a reciprocation of the pistons within the cylinder bores, and a fixed valve plate having a suction port and a discharge port. The block end wall is resiliently pressed against the valve plate so that the holes of the bores are operatively connected with the suction and discharge ports of the valve plate during the rotation of the block.

  • Patent number: 5230326
Abstract: An automotive heating apparatus includes a cylinder block forming an enclosed space therein, the gear pump means enclosed in the cylinder block, and a water jacket formed in the cylinder block outside the gear pump means. The gear pump means includes an input shaft connected to an engine and disposed in the enclosed space, a driving gear fixed to the input shaft and disposed in the enclosed space, a driven gear meshing with the driving gear and disposed in the enclosed space, and a viscous fluid sealed in the enclosed space. In the automotive heating apparatus, the viscous fluid is forcibly transferred from a suction side to a discharge side by the rotation of the driving gear and the driven gear, and at the same time there is caused a back flow of the viscous fluid resulting from an internal leakage from the discharge side to the suction side.
