  • Patent number: 9037855
Abstract: A content data reproducing method includes: decrypting encrypted data to generate plain-text data; dividing the plain-text data into decrypted content data and reproduction management information; sending the reproduction management information to a user space; storing the decrypted content data in a secret buffer; obtaining the decrypted content data as reproduction target data from the secret buffer and transmitting the reproduction target data to a decoder; and decoding the reproduction target data by the decoder.

  • Publication number: 20110085429
Abstract: A recording unit records data read from a buffer for storing therein data reproduced by a CD drive apparatus capable of adjusting a data reproduction volume which is a volume of data to be reproduced per unit time. A decision unit generates a signal which adjusts the data reproduction volume based on a buffering quantity in the buffer or a volume of dataflow in the recording unit, and outputs the generated signal to the CD drive apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7006852
Abstract: There is provided a power save processing method to be performed by a communication terminal capable of concurrently establishing communication links with a plurality of slave communication terminals, which reduces the transition time and provides an increased power save operation time. When a power save operation is performed at a plurality of slave communication terminals having asynchronous communication links established with the master communication terminal, the master communication terminal sets a communication start time and a communication duration for each communication link such that the communication slots used for the communication links are huddled together so as to span one continuous range, assuming that the communication links all have the same communication cycle. In accordance with the parameters thus set, the master communication terminal Negotiates with the plurality of slave communication terminals.

  • Publication number: 20050080754
Abstract: A communications device for fetching data received from some other device from a receive buffer into a memory managed by software, responding to an occurrence of a receive interrupt or a timer interrupt. A frequent occurrence of the receive interrupt or the timer interrupt leads to smooth establishment of a communications link with the other device, but results in reduction of the communications efficiency unless adopting a CPU higher in throughput or additional hardware. In the communications device, determination is made whether a communications link has been established or not. If established, the data is fetched in response to only the timer interrupt. If not, the data is fetched in response to either the receive interrupt or the timer interrupt. Consequently, the communications efficiency can be successfully improved, and the link can be smoothly established, without depending on CPU or hardware throughput.

  • Patent number: 6697119
Abstract: A data rate conversion apparatus of the present invention is a data rate conversion apparatus, comprising: an information input device for receiving frame information at a first data rate; an information storage memory including a plurality of buffers for storing the frame information; a write control device for selecting one of the buffers to which the frame information is to be written, and writing the frame information to the selected buffer; a read control device for selecting one of the buffers from which the frame information is to be read, and reading the frame information from the selected buffer; and an information output device for outputting the frame information, which is read by the read control device, at a second data rate which is different from the first data rate.
