Abstract: A point-of-presence, or “POP”, comprising a pair of wireless radios each having its own antenna, an ethernet switch and a router all powered through an uninterruptable power supply, or “UPS” Said POP being in communication with a network backbone. When used in pairs, with Open Short Path First protocol and said radios being enabled to use dynamic load balancing, said pair of POPs providing a redundant wireless network with extremely small footprint.
