  • Publication number: 20180201474
Abstract: A communication system includes an operating environment proximate a plurality of elevator car locations. Also included is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device connectable to a mobile device located within the operating environment, the BLE device being a BLE central communication device and the mobile device being a BLE peripheral communication device, the mobile device advertising a universal unique identifier (UUID) written to memory of the mobile device by the BLE device to establish connection between the mobile device and the BLE device.

  • Publication number: 20180201473
Abstract: A communication system includes an operating environment proximate a plurality of elevator car locations. Also included is at least one Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) access point device connectable to a mobile device located within the operating environment upon receipt of a BLE signal by the mobile device, the mobile device permitting a single BLE access point device of the at least one BLE access point devices to connect to the mobile device at a time, for requesting an elevator assignment from the connected BLE access point device, the BLE access point devices each being a BLE central communication device and the mobile device being a BLE peripheral communication device.

  • Patent number: 9998581
Abstract: A method of communication in an elevator operating environment is provided. The method includes generating a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) distinguishable signal with a wireless signal generating device located in at least one location proximate to an elevator boarding area. The method also includes receiving the BLE signal with a mobile device when the mobile device is proximate to the wireless signal generating device. The method further includes initiating an elevator call with the mobile device. The method yet further includes initiating the mobile device to enter a connection mode with a BLE access point device.

  • Patent number: 6395091
Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to various systems and processes for applying feed additives to a solid feed composition. In one embodiment, a solid feed additive is combined with a liquid carrier to form a feed additive suspension. The feed additive suspension is fed to a dispensing device that sprays the suspension onto a solid feed composition stream. In an alternative embodiment, a system is disclosed that combines and/or dilutes various liquid feed additives that are then similarly sprayed on a solid feed composition stream. In various embodiments of the present invention, the system includes a plurality of submixing systems that not only maintain a homogeneous suspension or solution but are also capable of continuously applying the solution or suspension to the feed composition.

  • Patent number: 6199512
Abstract: A method for orally administering feed supplements to a plurality of animal feed stations, and an apparatus for accomplishing the method are disclosed. A feed reservoir is separately connected to the feed station via a tube and is dispensed into a feed trough through a plurality of spray nozzles, providing essentially unlimited supplemental feed. The apparatus also comprises separator plates, such that individual feeding stations result. Additionally, a method of disinfecting and rinsing the apparatus is provided.
