Patent number: 7321293Abstract: An improvement in a tool of the type which is adapted for connection into a drilling string, which tool is adapted to perform a function in the drilling string as a first function. The improvement is a magnetic field source incorporated with the tool so that the tool is adapted to perform a magnetic field source carrying function as a second function. The first function is unrelated directly to the second function.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2005Date of Patent: January 22, 2008Assignee: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.Inventors: Timothy Wayne Kennedy, Rodney Alan Schnell, Bryan Armand Vandal

Patent number: 7163709Abstract: The present invention discloses a composition and method of providing ionic forms or compounds of any combination of three metals to produce a product that can be used as a antimicrobial as defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) such as a hard surface disinfectant and as a foliar spray or water treatment for the control of various diseases in garden row, field and tree crops, on hard surface areas such as equipment from infected fields or in hospitals, homes, etc. as well as against a wide range of human, plant and animal diseases. Additionally, the composition of the present invention is able to be used to coat and otherwise treat and disinfect food products such as but not limited to fish and shellfish, meat, milk, poultry, eggs and irrigated crops (both food and nonfood crops) as well as non food products as defined in the EPA exemption from tolerance for copper and copper products. The composition may include inerts such as surfactants, detergents and buffers to adjust the pH.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2001Date of Patent: January 16, 2007Inventors: Robert Cook, John Wayne Kennedy

Patent number: 7045138Abstract: A composition including a bait and a borate is used to mitigate a population of target insects and/or mollusca. The composition may include attractive by-products of agriculture and manufacturing with or without semiochemicals or biopesticides prepared as point source units (such as pellets or microcapsules). The by-products attract insects and/or mollusca to a food source for the purpose of mitigating the target organism. The bait is combined with borates and is pelletized and/or encapsulated into micron size particles. The pelletized and/or encapsulated particles are broadcast (spread) over areas infested with the target insect. The insects ingest the composition and regurgitate the composition to the remainder of the insect population. Significant mitigation of the population of the target insects results with little to no effect on the environment. The composition is also passed on to the next generation due to cannibalism of the target insects.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2001Date of Patent: May 16, 2006Assignee: American Natural Technology Sciences, Inc.Inventors: John Wayne Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy

Publication number: 20050135943Abstract: A molded compressor base (100) is provided for mounting a compressor without requiring mechanical fasteners. The molded compressor base (100) can be used to mount the compressor in any position ranging from a substantially horizontal position to a substantially vertical position. The molded compressor base (100) includes a mounting area that is designed and configured to secure a compressor placed in the mounting area. The mounting area can be configured for a compressor to be mounted in a substantially horizontal position, a substantially vertical position or any position in between. The molded compressor base (100) can also include one or more isolators to secure the compressor and to isolate vibrations from the compressor from the molded compressor base (100). The molded compressor base (100) can damp sound and/or vibrations generated by the compressor or the molded compressor base (100) can be coated with a sound and/or vibration damping coating.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2004Publication date: June 23, 2005Inventors: Wayne Kennedy, Scott Hix, Cosimo Caronna, John Williams, Joe Hill, Michael Young
