    Abstract: Control of an amplitude of a signal applied to a component of a mass spectrometer is described. In one aspect, a mass spectrometer includes a component and a resonant circuit to generate a radio frequency (RF) signal applied to the component. An amplitude control circuit can be inductively coupled with inductors of the resonant circuit to selectively discharge energy from the resonant circuit and, therefore, adjust the amplitude of the signal in particular situations.

The system further includes at least one upper brush that operates to scrub the top surface of the product after the cleaning solution has been applied thereto. The system optionally includes one or more lower sprayers and lower brushes to clean a bottom surface of the product as it is conveyed through the system. The system further includes an air knife system that assists with drying the product prior to exiting the system. The system further includes a controller that is operable to adjust various system parameters.

    Abstract: A multiple-antenna positioning system with a single drive element, providing reduced weight and complexity over systems that have a drive element for each antenna. In certain examples, each antenna can be coupled with a rotating spindle, with each antenna spindle being coupled with a pair of link arms. By driving a single drive spindle, each of the antenna spindles in the system can be rotated by the associated pair of link arms. The link arms can have an adjustable length, such as through a turnbuckle mechanism, to reduce backlash in the system, and in some examples can apply a preload to the system. By reducing backlash, the multiple antenna positioning system can have improved responsiveness to a rotation of the single drive element, as well as improved stability of the positioning of each antenna when the drive element is held in a fixed position.

The scheduler circuit includes a plurality of operand pool reservation circuits each having an assigned number of source operands for an instruction stored that must be ready before the instruction is issued. Instructions having the same number of source operands that are not yet ready for its issuance can be stored in an operand pool reservation circuit having the same assigned number of source operands. In this manner, the number of reservation entries and associated comparator circuits in the clustered scheduler circuit is distributed among the plurality of operand pool reservation circuits to avoid or reduce an increase in the number of scheduling path connections and complexity in each reservation circuit. This can avoid or reduce an increase in scheduling latency for a given number of reservation entries in the clustered scheduler circuit.
