    Abstract: A method for augmenting the net output of a gas turbine having an inlet for acquiring a fluid such as air to be compressed is disclosed. The method comprising the following steps: providing a first flow of liquid water comprising liquid droplets to the fluid to be compressed at a first location upstream of the gas turbine for providing evaporative cooling; and providing a second flow of liquid water comprising liquid droplets to the intake air to be compressed at a second location downstream of the first location and proximate to the gas turbine for providing power augmentation.
