The preferred arrangements have a cured-in-place jacket around an outside of a coiled z-filter media combination. The preferred cured-in-place jacket is a mold-in-place overmold which includes, integral therein, a housing seal arrangement. Preferably a cured-in-place center core is used, most preferably one that has opposite concave ends with seal arrangements configured to seal a lead end portion of the coiled z-filter media combination.

Abstract: A pool vacuum unit which comprises a housing having an inlet formed in a bottom portion thereof, and an outlet formed in an upper portion of the housing with a fluid passageway extending between the inlet and outlet, a pump to pump liquid from the inlet to the outlet, an electric motor powered by at least one battery within the housing, and a base which is removably attached to the housing. The vacuum unit is suitable for smaller cleanups of the pool.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for capturing, processing still images, captured inline from an analog video stream, and storing in a digital format on removable non-volatile memory using an S-video or composite video interface to most medical modalities, including, ultrasound machines, intra-oral cameras, endoscopic cameras, or any device with analog video output. The apparatus provides a Menu Driven/Front Panel Control User Interface with on-screen messages providing the ability to review of images via unique On-Screen display. The apparatus utilizes on-board local memory with the ability to store images on multiple specialized non-volatile memory drives that can be equipped with unique embedded security key facilitating the storage, manipulation, and distribution of images. A preferred embodiment includes the capturing of images from live video to removable non-volatile memory formats utilizing the apparatus's video inputs without need of personal computer, and without the need for a computer bus interface.
