  • Publication number: 20100228559
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to enable sharing of healthcare information are disclosed herein. An example method for use with a medical information system includes receiving healthcare information from an application operating according to a first standard; obtaining context information associated with the healthcare information; generating a document including at least a portion of the healthcare information; and combining the context information and the document to form a standardized message capable of being shared with an information exchange operating according to a second standard.

  • Patent number: 7490878
Abstract: A device for safely handling electrically sensitive objects. A grounded dissipative material is used to form a handling surface so that electrically charged objects handled by the wand can slowly discharge without becoming damaged.

  • Patent number: 7403385
Abstract: An improved air flow management has an air control device for blocking air from low impedance airflow pathways without high thermal components and directing the air flow initially at specific components with high thermal loading. Other components are cooled by the air as it passes from the high thermal loading component to exit from the unit. The air control device directs the air flow by locating and sizing apertures in the air control device based on the location and thermal load of the components on the printed circuit board. Accordingly, the unit can require less air flow through the unit and smaller or no heat sinks than conventional methods.

  • Publication number: 20070061996
Abstract: A heat exchanger for use with a carpet cleaning system having combined exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine and other hot exhaust gases expelled from a vacuum pump as a single input to a heat exchanger for heating the carpet cleaning fluid. A heat exchanger control system permits constant control of a stream of cleaning fluid both while the cleaning fluid is flowing through the heat exchanger and while the cleaning fluid is stagnant within the heat exchanger, without the potential overheat condition of the portion of cleaning fluid stagnant in the heat exchanger known in prior art devices that required a constant flow of the cleaning fluid.

  • Patent number: 7059541
Abstract: A fluid mixing arrangement, referred to as a mixing block, for use in mixing two liquids like an acidic and a basic components of a cleaning solution, which is placed under pressure and sprayed through a conventional spray gun or nozzle at a reduced amount of pressure. In particular, the innovative design of the present invention provides the unique features of allowing manual and visual inspection of the various chambers, inlets, flow-rate or pressure reducing orifices, supply filters, and backflow preventing valves of the mixing block.

  • Publication number: 20050278889
Abstract: A platform mounted drive train for a professional carpet and floor cleaner system, the platform mounted drive train being formed of a rigid platform; a power plant having two spaced apart mounting structures secured to the rigid platform; a vacuum blower having one mounting structure secured-to-the rigid platform; a rigid structural connector coupled between the power plant and the vacuum blower for rigidly securing the vacuum blower in fixed lateral, angular and rotational alignment with the power plant; and a coupler assembly interfaced between an output drive of the power plant and an input drive of the vacuum blower. The drive train is optionally mounted using one or more vibration isolators.
