  • Publication number: 20190008140
Abstract: Provided are a system and method for a game call having an open frame and notch above a diaphragm. The game call includes a first frame having a top side and a bottom side, an exterior periphery and an interior periphery, and a longitudinal axis. A flexible diaphragm disposed in the first frame between the top side and the bottom side and across the interior periphery, the flexible diaphragm having side portions adjacent to the longitudinal axis and a central portion generally upon the longitudinal axis. An Open Arch Frame spans the interior periphery generally normal to the top side, the Open Arch Frame disposed above the flexible diaphragm and generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the arch frame having a central air passage notch section, and opposing leg sections. An associated method of use is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5507343
Abstract: A method and apparatus for repairing or isolating holes, ruptures, splits or old perforations in marginal oil and gas wells from producing perforations. The apparatus includes two packer assemblies, a tube assembly and a slip assembly. The packer assemblies further include expandable packer elements and a vent cone mounted on a mandrel. The mandrels of the packer assemblies are connected to opposite ends of the tube assembly. The slip assembly is housed on the mandrel of one packer assembly and is used to create a positive mechanical set of the repair apparatus when positioned over the damaged area. Once the packer apparatus is positioned and the packer elements expanded, gas from producing formations flow to the wellhead through the tube assembly without interfering with the operation of down-hole pumps. The length of the gas vent packer apparatus can be varied between the packer elements depending upon the depth of damaged casing requiring repair or isolation.

  • Patent number: 4883171
Abstract: The animal call holder and at least one flat animal call device form the assembly. The holder includes a container having a bottom portion formed of a flat closed bottom, and integral upraised sides, rear and front sloped upwardly rearwardly and defining a lower storage space therewith. The bottom portion may have a pocket clip attached thereto and/or loops and a neck lanyard. The container also has an openable lid hinged to the bottom portion. The lid may be flat or may include a closed flat top and integral closed depending sides, front and rear sloped downwardly forwardly and adapted to rest on the upper edges of the bottom portion and which define an upper storage space. The top may be vapor permeable but water resistant in order to dry out wet animal call devices in the holder. The top inside may bear strips upon which indicia identifying the call devices can be marked.
