  • Patent number: 9998446
Abstract: Systems for managing user-level security in a cloud-based service platform. A server in a cloud-based environment is configured to interface with storage devices that store objects that are accessible over a network by two or more users. An enterprise entity is identified using an enterprise identifier associated with the enterprise, and an application service is associated with an application identifier. An application service request comprising a user identifier and the application identifier is received, and authentication is determined based on the combination of the user identifier and a pre-authenticated application identifier. Once the application service request is authenticated, then specific aspects of the service request are authorized. The integrity of the application identifier is confirmed by locating a secure association of the given application identifier to a pre-shared enterprise identifier.

  • Patent number: 9004764
Abstract: A linear guide assembly has a bar device, multiple partitions, multiple containing spaces and multiple rolling balls. The partitions are mounted between two bars of the bar device at intervals to form the containing spaces. The rolling balls are respectively and rotatably mounted in the containing spaces. Each partition has multiple first protrusions and multiple second protrusions. Each rolling ball is in point-contact with the first protrusions and the second protrusions of adjacent two of the partitions. With the point-contact configuration, an outer surface of each rolling ball is lubricated by much oil.

  • Publication number: 20120265163
Abstract: A container containing liquid medication which can be accessed with a needleless syringe is disclosed. The vial includes a stopper defining a central portion. A blind side of the central portion of the stopper has a plurality of flaps defined by grooves. These grooves define weakened or attenuated areas that rupture when a central tube of a male luer of the needleless syringe pushes into the stopper. A liquid tight seal is formed between the male luer of the needleless syringe and the stopper to prevent spillage of liquid medication during the extraction process.

  • Publication number: 20070129829
Abstract: A method for automatically creating an MP3 folder, includes: firstly, initializing a memory or a memory folder of an electronic product after turning on the electronic production that plays MP3s; next, judging whether an MP3 folder has already been created in the memory of the electronic product; if not, creating an MP3 folder in the memory of the electronic product via an MP3 folder creating program that is stored in the electronic product; and, finally transmitting MP3 files directly from a second electronic product to the MP3 folder. Whereby, the method of the present invention solves the inconvenient problem that users must create an MP3 folder in the memory of the electronic product by themselves.

  • Patent number: 5809226
Abstract: The physical integrity of a large-scale hardware connection between two modules, such as in the context of high-speed digital printing, is tested by entering a diagnostic mode in which single-instruction handshake routines are repeatedly sent from one module to another through a parallel bus. Each handshake routine activates all of the communication lines in the bus. If a sending module does not receive the expected response to the single-instruction handshake routine within a predetermined time, the sending module causes an audible signal to be emitted. Service personnel can manually manipulate various cables, connectors, and sockets forming a hardware connection while the system is in diagnostic mode, to isolate the location of a hardware fault.

  • Patent number: 5615015
Abstract: A printing system, including a user interface for programming an electronic job ticket with a plurality of instructions to process a first electronic document, is provided. The printing system further includes an emitter for converting the first electronic document, with the electronic job ticket, into a second electronic document written in a page description language, the second electronic document including respective page description language representations of a selected instruction and a selected electronic page. The second electronic document is transmitted from the emitter to a printing machine where the second electronic document is interpreted with a job decomposer to create an output-ready document. In practice, the decomposer performs an image processing operation, on the page description language representation of the selected electronic page, with the page description language representation of the selected instruction of the second electronic document.
