  • Patent number: 9844204
Abstract: A folding corral system is operable to define an enclosed space and to selectively adjust the size of the enclosed space. The folding corral system broadly includes a corral structure, a swingable corral panel, and a powered drive system. The corral structure is operable to be installed adjacent the enclosed space. The corral panel is pivotally supported relative to the corral structure to swing about an upright pivot axis. The corral panel is swingable relative to the corral structure into and out of a deployed condition where the swingable corral panel at least partly defines the enclosed space. The powered drive system is drivingly attached relative to the swingable corral panel. The powered drive system is operable to drive the swingable corral panel into and out of the deployed condition.

  • Patent number: 6725810
Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling an animal includes a motorized and programmable actuator unit that is coupled to a bridle on the horse. The actuator unit includes a motor and a pulley to control tension on lines leading to the horse, the tension providing a control stimulus to the animal. A clutch coupling the motor and pulley provides a release function to automatically release tension on the lines once the motor is deactivated. A remote signal unit sends control signals to a controller in the actuator unit for controlling the animal remotely from the horse.

  • Publication number: 20020139317
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward an apparatus and method for controlling an animal, more typically a horse. The device includes a motorized and programmable actuator that is coupled to a bridle on the horse. The actuator is used to pull the bridle in a manner similar to how reins or a lead rope are used to control a horse. The actuator includes controls mounted directly on the actuator unit. The invention also includes a remote signal unit that sends control signals to the actuator so that a user located remotely from the horse can control the horse.
