  • Patent number: 4469626
Abstract: A composition for forming a resistive type oxygen sensing element and a method for forming such elements, wherein a mixture of titanium dioxide, glass frit and platinum are used, the titanium dioxide having a particle size within a specific range, and a particular ratio to the other two components of the mixture. The composition is screened over printed platinum leads on a ceramic substrate, with a resistor material also used as a thermistor, and the resistive materials having their own conductive leads in addition to a common lead to the terminals of an oxygen sensor.
