  • Publication number: 20230021731
Abstract: A downhole tool for cleaning a wellbore includes a tool body having a passage therein. A liquid is to flow through the passage of the tool body and have an intermittent flow pattern. An inner sleeve positioned within the tool body includes a recess having a recess pattern. In response to the intermittent flow pattern of the flow of fluid, a shift pin positioned in the recess of the inner sleeve is to traverse through the recess pattern. The downhole tool includes at least one scraper blade. The scraper blade is movable between a retracted position and a radially expanded position. In response to the shift pin traversing the recess pattern of the recess, the scraper blade can be expanded radially outward toward a wall of the wellbore from the retracted position to the expanded position and/or retracted inward away from the wall of the wellbore from the expanded position to the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20220374421
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for processing search queries using item-based search refinement are provided. In response to a search query, search result items are displayed on a search interface. The search result items each have an associated item-specific control having embedded selectable hierarchical category classifications. Upon selecting an item-specific control, the item-specific control is displayed. A selection of an embedded hierarchical category classification is received to cause execution of an embedded-item search operation. An embedded-item search operation is executed to identify a subset of the items using the selected hierarchical category classification. The associated item-specific control further has embedded selectable attributes. A selection of an embedded attribute is further received to cause execution of the embedded-item search operation.

  • Publication number: 20220267007
Abstract: A substructure in an aircraft cabin includes a drawer-insert accepting portion that defines multiple racks. Each rack may receive an exchangeable drawer insert. A module-accepting portion of the substructure defines an opening that includes a supporting surface, a back wall which extends upward and outward, and a lateral side wall. A module is provided for optionally installing in the module-accepting portion. The module has concealed areas upon installing that include: (i) a base adapted to rest on the supporting surface, (ii) a side wall adapted to abut the lateral side wall, and (iii) a rear wall adapted to abut the back wall. The module has exposed surfaces upon installing that are adapted to match an existing profile of the drawer-insert accepting portion. The module-accepting portion is configured for stowing cargo in a first mode and for receiving the module in a second mode. The module may include a locking assembly.

  • Patent number: 11014690
Abstract: A system and method for simulating a structure is disclosed. An adjustable interior mockup for simulating a structure has a base with a first elongated side and a second elongated side, the first elongated side being nonadjacent the second elongated side; and an adjustable frame secured to the base. The adjustable frame includes a plurality of girder members secured along the first and second elongated sides to form an arc; a plurality of brackets; a plurality of arms having a latch attached to one end; and a sheet of fabric. The girders are securely fastened along the first elongated side of the base at predetermined intervals; the brackets are secured to the girders; the arms are received by the brackets and adjustably anchored to the girders via a fastener; and the latches engage the sheet of fabric, thus pulling the fabric into a shape that resembles the structure.

  • Patent number: 10939272
Abstract: A system and method for managing jobsite personnel is presented. An application registers Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices on a geographically-defined jobsite, associates them with individual workers, and associates the workers' devices with the particular jobsite. The application logs registered devices when the devices come within the physical boundaries of the associated jobsite. An administrator may receive reports on all registered mobile devices. In an emergency requiring jobsite evacuation, a server communicates to each logged mobile device a message requiring time-sensitive compliance. Compliance is tracked and recorded. The server can provide to the administrator one or more compliance reports.

  • Patent number: 10690462
Abstract: A device and method for producing a secondary malfunction of a cartridge extracted from a firearm. A cartridge case has a bullet disposed in a front end and a rim formed at a rear end. The rim is tapered toward a primer, wherein the primer is disposed in the center of the rim. The tapered rim prevents a firearm from successfully extracting the cartridge case, i.e. a secondary malfunction occurs.

  • Patent number: 10683734
Abstract: Dissolvable casing liners are utilized to isolate existing perforations. A dissolvable casing liner is deployed downhole along the interior of a casing string having a plurality of perforations. The casing liner is then secured against the casing string, thereby effectively sealing the perforations. Once the perforations are isolated, refracturing operations may be conducted. At some time thereafter, the casing liner is dissolved and removed from the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20190218873
Abstract: In composite slips and downhole tools using composite slips, there are provided one or more slip segments. The slip segments comprise a body and one or more inserts. The body is a composite material having an outer surface. The inserts each have an upper surface and each of the inserts is mechanically affixed into the body such that the upper surface of each of the inserts extends at least partially out from the outer surface. In some embodiments, the inserts are oval or stadium shaped and have a shoulder that locks the insert from moving by interaction with a shoulder in a cavity wall of the body.

  • Patent number: 10259368
Abstract: An articulating armrest includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion that protrude from a member a predetermined spacing apart. Each protrusion aligns within a separate track within a housing configured for stowing the armrest within a seat back. The two tracks include straight and curved portions configured to articulate the armrest. Specifically, the armrest moves along a curvilinear path between stowed and deployed positions by translating along the tracks and pivoting about the second protrusion. The armrest may stow in a seat back and beneath the seat bottom to provide a full length armrest when deployed, and the armrest may stow flush with the seat back for sitting against. Mechanical tension may be provided to automatically deploy the armrest, and a rotational damper and a gas spring may be used to control the speed at which the armrest deploys.
