  • Patent number: 11941071
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for a web-based process to generate electronic checklists and deploy electronic checklists. One method may include: receiving bulk data from a user device; parsing the bulk data to form a loadable database for an electronic procedure system of a vehicle; generating a rendering of an electronic checklist of one or more electronic checklists based on the loadable database; transmitting a first message to the user device, the first message including the rendering of the electronic checklist; iteratively performing an authoring process using a web-based tool to update the loadable database; receiving a second message from the user device, the second message including an instruction to transmit the updated loadable database to the electronic procedure system of the vehicle; and transmitting a third message to the vehicle, the third message including the updated loadable database.

  • Publication number: 20140003868
Abstract: A concrete pile is cast in the ground by driving a plate into the earth with a tubular mandrel to create a shaft. Fluid grout injected into the mandrel can flow from the mandrel to fill the shaft. The plate is tethered to the mandrel and is recoverable for reuse when the mandrel is withdrawn from the grout filled shaft.

  • Patent number: 6773208
Abstract: A method for casting a partially-reinforced concrete pile in the ground includes installing an elongate hollow tubular casing in a hole in the ground with an elongate portion of the hole extending downwardly beneath the lower end of the casing. Hardenable fluid concrete is conducted into the hole and casing so as to substantially fill the respective hollow cross-sections thereof. The concrete is permitted to reach a hardened state while the casing remains within the ground, thereby forming a concrete pile partially reinforced by the casing against side-loading in an upper portion of the pile.

  • Patent number: 6588548
Abstract: A pharmacy workstation includes a staging area where a prescription is initially processed by entering prescription data and customer data into a computer operable with a keyboard and recessed monitor. A prescription filling process area downstream the staging area yet proximate the keyboard includes a telephone and printer for communicating information with a doctor and insurance provider, as desired. A slot within the counter permits printed material, including prescription and customer information, and printed labels to be conveniently delivered to the process area. Gravity fed bins store empty vials and caps. A drug-filled vial, the written prescription, and the printed material are placed in a basket and conveyed downstream to a checking process area of the workstation. Once checked, the capped vial is placed in a bag, the bag sealed, and conveyed to a finished prescription holding area.

  • Publication number: 20020043906
Abstract: A counter construction for merchandising prepared foods comprises a support fitted with and extending above the counter and an elongated sneeze guard assembly carried by the support means above the counter top. The sneeze guard is extensible into and out of the counter to permit the assembly to be raised and lowered relative to the counter top, permitting both full service and self-service modes of operation. The sneeze guard assembly further includes other features, including an illuminating light, a shelf and an advertising/accent panel, all of which are carried by the sneeze guard assembly.

  • Patent number: 5419658
Abstract: A method for forming a pile by driving a thin-walled pipe is disclosed. A closed-end thin-walled pipe is driven partially into the earth until firm bearing is reached. The partially driven pipe is partially filled with a concrete and the concrete is hardened. A mandrel is inserted into the partially-driven pipe to contact the hardened concrete, and the pipe is driven downwardly further by driving with the mandrel against the concrete until driving is complete. The completely-driven pipe is then cut off and further filled with concrete to the cut-off level. Excess pipe which has been cut off is used to make up further piles.

  • Patent number: 4992002
Abstract: An apparatus for forming an in-ground concrete piling includes an elongate hollow mandrel which can be driven into the ground with a pile driver. A cupped foot, having a larger cross-sectional area than the mandrel, is placed beneath the mandrel before it is driven into the ground, and openings located near the bottom of the mandrel permit grout placed in the mandrel to flow into the space between the mandrel and the foot. A hollow sheath which slidably fits over the foot is attached to the bottom of an annular collar which slidably fits over the mandrel, forming a seal to prevent escape of grout from the openings while the mandrel is being filled. In use the mandrel is filled with grout before it is driven into the ground. Thereafter, during driving, the grout flows out of the openings in the bottom of the mandrel into the space around the mandrel, which is created by the foot.
