    Abstract: A pneumatic recoil reduction device for a shotgun. The device, fitted into a cavity in the butt end of a shotgun, has an air cylinder equipped with a valved hole, or port, which is located in the end of the air cylinder, closest to the butt end of the shotgun. This permits adjusting the pressure in the air cylinder from the rear without disassemblying the butt stock.
