  • Patent number: 7600633
Abstract: A pin assembly for a chain of a material handling system includes a pin element and an attachment element. The pin element includes a shaft portion, a head portion at an end of the shaft portion, and an attachment portion at an end of the shaft portion opposite the head portion. The attachment element is configured to attach to the attachment portion of the pin element, and is positionable at the attachment portion and is retainable thereto. The attachment element may comprise a second head portion to define an I-type pin assembly or may comprise a side link and pusher member construction or other element or member. A mounting extension may extend from the attachment portion for mounting an object to the pin assembly after the attachment is attached to the pin element.

  • Publication number: 20090044719
Abstract: A trolley assembly for a conveyor includes a wheel assembly and a trolley arm. The wheel assembly includes a wheel that is rotatably mounted to an axle, with the axle extending along an axis of rotation of the wheel and comprising a mounting portion that is non-rotatably mounted to or at least partially received in the trolley arm. The mounting portion of the axle may be inserted into a passageway and at least partially expanded to limit retraction of the axle from the passageway, or a fastener or other retaining means may secure the axle at least partially within a passageway of the trolley arm. The mounting portion of the axle may comprise a non-cylindrical mounting portion that is received in a non-cylindrical-shaped passageway of the trolley arm.

  • Patent number: 7316666
Abstract: A fluid warming cassette useful in a system for warming parenteral fluids is provided. The cassette comprises a thermally conductive, flexible fluid container with a fluid channel. Rails are disposed in the fluid container near its periphery, and a stiffener is disposed in the fluid container, between the rails, near an end of the cassette. Together, the rails and stiffener impart structural rigidity to the fluid container. The fluid container, rails and stiffener are joined into an integrated structure useful as a fluid warming cassette. One or more of the rails has a multilateral shape to key the cassette for insertion into a fluid warming unit.

  • Patent number: 3947045
Abstract: This rotary sealing means has a casing with spaced concentric inner and outer walls connected by an end wall, the latter having a shoulder adjacent the inner wall. A primary sealing element, composed of carbon or the like, is guided for nonrotative movement between the inner and outer walls, such element having a counterbore which forms a shoulder opposed to and spaced from the shoulder in the casing. A secondary sealing element is disposed in the space between the shoulders, such secondary element in one form of the invention being annular and having a plastic part of generally channel-shaped cross section with the open side facing inwardly so that fluid pressure applied thereto will tend to urge the flaps of the channel toward the shoulders. Spring means are also positioned between the flaps of the channel to initially urge the flaps toward the shoulders. Variations in the plastic channel and spring means may be provided to extend the usefulness of the seal.
