    Abstract: In a method for regulating the headlight range of a vehicle as a function of the load, the vehicle speed is also taken into account to increase or decrease the headlight range at high or low speed. With the vehicle at rest, the headlight range can be further reduced by contrast with a vehicle operating at a lower speed. The same applies to driving on a highway with a rough surface.
