The system further includes a charger request label on the electrified vehicle. The charger request label contains encoded information enabling a first user to initiate a transmission of a request for the command from a second user.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for capturing consumer voice signatures. The methods and systems synchronize voice signatures with display of the terms and conditions of a transaction to the consumer in real time during a phone conversation. In one implementation, mobile devices with text display capability may be used to display the terms/conditions of the transaction while the consumer is talking to a customer service representative or an interactive voice response system. The terms/conditions may be displayed as a scrollable document on the mobile device to which the consumer may then agree during the phone conversation. The consumer may then “voice sign” by reading the displayed terms/conditions, or some portion thereof, during the phone conversation to manifest his/her knowing consent. Such an arrangement helps promotes the use of voice signatures by consumers in a manner that complies with the requirements of the federal E-Sign Act.

Eligibility information provides the system with information such as the document type, the applicable line of business, governmental regulations, time sensitive information, and security requirements. If a given document is determined to be eligible, the processing unit of the present invention retrieves one or more preference instructions provided by the customer. The preference instructions are reviewed to confirm 1) whether the customer has authorized electronic access to a given document and 2) the mode of electronic transmission favored by the customer. In one embodiment, the present invention is connected to a computer network such that the customer may be provided electronic access to his or her documents through a web interface.

Abstract: A battery charging unit communicates with an operational device while contemporaneously charging a battery to power the device. The device provides information to the charging unit indicating its present operational status, which enables the charging unit to determine the magnitude of the proper charging current under such operating conditions. In this way, battery life is maximized while battery charging time is minimized.
