  • Publication number: 20220154568
Abstract: A separator for a gas production facility includes a vessel defining an interior chamber. The vessel is designed to operate at a pressure greater than a pressure of a fluid being produced from a wellbore, the fluid including liquid, gas, sand and debris. The separator includes an inlet through which the fluid being produced from the wellbore is directed into the vessel, an electronically controlled valve in fluid communication with a lower portion of the vessel, and an outlet through which the gas is directed out of the vessel at a pressure substantially equal to the pressure of the fluid being produced from the wellbore. The separator includes a controller programmed to open, close, or modulate the electronically controlled valve to regulate flow of the liquid, sand and debris out of the lower portion of the vessel in response to a level of the liquid detected within the interior chamber.

  • Patent number: 9887053
Abstract: In some aspects, a relay control device includes a processor and a timer. The processor is electrically connectable to a relay that controls current flow to a load device. The processor causes the relay to be actuated at a first point in time so that a current flows to the load device. The processor determines an actuation duration for the relay from a measurement of the load current that is obtained with a current sense component. The processor determines a frequency of an input voltage or current from the measured load current. The processor synchronizes the timer with this frequency and identifies a zero-crossing point for a second load current based on the synchronized timer. The processor subsequently causes the relay to be actuated at a time that is offset from the zero-crossing point by the actuation duration.

  • Patent number: 8504466
Abstract: A method and system for conducting an auction. The auction system provides a criteria for a seller to offer an item for sale with a discount off the bid that is displayed before a bid is made by the bidder, and/or a discount that is advertised from a minimum discount up to a maximum discount off the bid amount that is declared and displayed after the auction is closed. The discount(s) apply to the bidders initial bid and each raised bid and are not contingent on or to another condition. The auction system provides a mechanism to conduct an auction that allow persons to pay a bid fee to register as a bidder, register an opening bid with a discount that is stated before a bid is made by the bidder and a means for when the auction opens at a later date, to accept the registered opening bids.

  • Publication number: 20090176555
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of playing a game in which the players determine a value for a point total that would equal a win and a total of wins that would equal a champion. For example, one point equals a win and one win equals a champion or three points equal a win and four wins equal a champion. Each player is assigned a number or draws a number or chooses a number from 1 to 6. A method of generating a set of five numbers with six possibilities each is used for the initial roll. The flow of the game is specific upon the evaluation of the first roll and subsequent rolls. In all cases colors, shapes or dice can be substituted for numbers. A point occurs with a match of four and a win occurs with a match of five. Players continue to roll as long as on each roll the player has at least one match. Players hold the items that match and roll the remainder. All players have a chance to win on an initial roll.

  • Patent number: 7240770
Abstract: A roof anchor including a pair of blocks positioned side-by-side. The blocks have adjacent, inner surfaces with notches cut therefrom for receiving a standing seam of a metal roof. The blocks also have outer surfaces remote from the inner surfaces. A bracket is positioned over the pair of blocks. The bracket includes a base portion having a pair of legs, each being positioned adjacent a respective one of the outer surfaces of the blocks, and a crosspiece, positioned adjacent the tops of the blocks, joining the legs together. A loop portion is affixed to the base portion for securement of a workman's safety lanyard. A threaded fastener penetrates the pair of blocks and the pair of legs for: fastening the pair of blocks together, securing the bracket to the pair of blocks, and clamping the pair of blocks upon a standing seam of a metal roof.

  • Publication number: 20050096130
Abstract: The gaming method or system has at least two different games and a participating progressive jackpot. The progressive jackpot is the same for some or all games within the gaming system. For example, if a given gaming system has two different games, a player can win the progressive jackpot while playing either of the two games. More than two games and more than one progressive jackpot can utilized within the gaming system described herein. Almost any game can be used in the gaming method and system. It is generally preferred that the games be games of skill and/or chance such as playing card games, high/low card games, twenty-one card games, poker card games, dice games, slot machine casino style games, lottery, pull tab, keno, bingo type games or any other suitable game (i.e. having table fixed jackpots and/or progressive jackpots).
