  • Publication number: 20240106840
Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for identifying and preventing misappropriation using normalized request sequences. The method includes receiving a sequence of two or more requests associated with a user. The method also includes comparing the sequence of two or more requests with one or more past sequence of two or more past requests. The method further includes determining whether the sequence of two or more requests were carried out by the user or the malfeasant actor. The determination is made based on a comparison of the sequence of two or more requests with at least one of the one or more past sequence of two or more past requests. The method also includes causing an escalation action to be executed in an instance in which the sequence of two or more requests was carried out by the malfeasant actor.

  • Patent number: 9438899
Abstract: A statistically lossless transform (SLT) can be used with data (e.g., image data) to be compressed. Prior to compression, an SLT stabilizes the variance for a read noise+Poisson process. The SLT redistributes (image) data that has been quantized with a linear uniform quantizer and essentially assures there are no gaps in the output values (i.e., all output digital values are used). The SLT re-quantizes the data with a quantization interval width that is proportional to the standard deviation of the process.

  • Publication number: 20060152609
Abstract: An electronic image capture device for capturing a color image, comprising an image sensor comprised of discrete light sensitive picture elements overlaid with a color filter array (CFA) pattern to produce sensor color image data corresponding to the CFA pattern; an A/D converter for producing uninterpolated digital CFA image data from the sensor color image data; a processor for processing the uninterpolated digital CFA image data to produce interpolated image data and for forming a TIFF image file containing both the uninterpolated CFA image data and the interpolated image data; and a memory for storing the TIFF image file.

  • Publication number: 20050108645
Abstract: A method for selectively optimizing a plurality of image characteristics for captured images, that includes modifying two or more one-dimensional image characteristic controls using a single loop position controller having one-dimensional control. The single loop position controller traverses useful ranges of each of the two or more one-dimensional image characteristic controls. Additionally, a user cycles through several combinations of the two or more one-dimensional image characteristic controls within a video loop; and has a means of selecting a desired image rendered according to the two or more one-dimensional image characteristic controls.
