  • Patent number: 11958120
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a miter gauge and methods of use thereof. Generally, this disclosure is related to a miter bar of a miter gauge that includes at least one spacer member which applies pressure to a side of a channel defined within a worktable. The application of this pressure by the at least one spacer member enables the miter bar to remain in a substantially constant position between the first side and second side of the channel and reduces the degree of play between the miter bar and the first and second sides of the channel. Retainer members are provided on a bottom of the miter bar to aid in preventing the miter bar from lifting vertically out of the channel during use.

  • Publication number: 20240100733
Abstract: A woodworking bridge has two base walls or components that enable the bridge to span an abutment or joint between two work pieces. A top surface enables a clamp to engage the bridge to permit the clamp to apply a clamping force to a first work piece and a second work piece on both sides of the joint and prevent the clamp from contacting the joint. This allows any adhesive that oozes from the joint to be cleaned without curing in the top surface and/or the bottom surface of the two work pieces. The work pieces may then be stained without any cured adhesive in the pores of the work pieces where stain is applied.

  • Publication number: 20240042644
Abstract: A table saw jig for guiding offcut sides of various types of workpiece. The table saw jig includes a base that operably engages with a table of a table saw. The table saw jig also includes a slider that is moveably engaged inside of the base and is adapted to guide an offcut side of at least one workpiece along the table of the table saw. The table saw jig also includes at least one attachment assembly that operably engages with the base and is adapted to engage the base with the table of the table saw. The table saw jig also includes at least one calibration assembly that operably engages with the slider and the base. The at least one calibration assembly is configured to calibrate the slider relative to a blade of the table saw when the base is operably engaged with the table of the table saw.

  • Publication number: 20230234257
Abstract: A rotation stop assembly that is operable to engage a rail assembly of a miter gauge to support the miter gauge and prevent rotational movement thereof when the gauge is extended beyond the edge of a work surface. The rotation stop assembly may utilize the piece of material being cut to further support the gauge and prevent rotational movement thereof.

  • Patent number: 8632677
Abstract: An aquarium cleaner system for cleaning the bottom surface of an aquarium. The system has a suction means with a suction body. The suction body has an open enlarged lower end, an open upper end and a propeller system. There is also a filter with an opening fluidly connected to the open upper end of the suction body, an impurities entrapment surface and a fluid return surface. There is further provided a controller for turning on or off the suction means according to a preprogrammed schedule and a random position effecter, such that when a new cleaning position is desired, the suction means is terminated for a first predetermined duration so that the suction body causes the aquarium bottom cleaner to rise from the current cleaning position before turning on the suction means for a second predetermined duration.

  • Publication number: 20120181222
Abstract: An aquarium cleaner system for cleaning the bottom surface of an aquarium. The system has a suction means with a naturally buoyant suction body. The suction body has an open enlarged lower end, an open upper end and a propeller system. The lower end is adapted to be seated on the bottom surface of the aquarium and the open enlarged lower end is fluidly connected to the open upper end. The suction means creates an untreated water flow from the open enlarged lower end to the open upper end. There is also a filter with an opening fluidly connected to the open upper end of the suction body, an impurities entrapment surface and a fluid return surface. The untreated water flow is received at the opening and forced through the impurities entrapment surface, leaving behind impurities on the impurities entrapment surface and creating a return flow in a cavity defined by the fluid return surface and the interior surface of a filter housing.

  • Patent number: 4063064
Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed in a system for drilling holes with a laser beam in a plurality of discrete moving workpieces carried by a support which moves each workpiece sequentially along a predetermined path at a predetermined velocity, the apparatus including means for sequentially tracking along a portion of such path each workpiece being drilled seriatim by the laser beam. This tracing apparatus includes means for directing the laser beam generally transversely of the direction of movement of the workpiece on the support and a mirror for folding the transversely directed laser beam toward the workpieces with means for oscillating the folding mirror synchronously with the movement of the workpiece to track the workpiece as it moves.

  • Patent number: PP21837
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of peach tree, denominated ‘UFGlo’, characterized by a winter chilling requirement estimated at 400 chill units (cu). The tree is medium size, moderately vigorous, and semi-spreading in growth habit. It bears showy, pink flowers, and leaves with reniform glands. Trees of ‘UFGlo’ are self-fertile and regularly bear heavy annual crops of early season fruit that are medium size (125g) for its ripening season. Fruit are uniformly firm with non-melting white flesh. Fruit are nearly round, and uniform with substantially symmetrical shape, and have an attractive 70 to 80% red skin. The fruit of ‘UFGlo’ usually ripen 10 to 14 days before ‘UFSharp’ peach in mid-May at Gainesville, Fla.
