  • Patent number: 9481004
Abstract: The invention is a filter for paint booth filtration systems. The filter has a housing made up of a peripheral wall, which extends around the entire periphery of the filter, and opposing filter-retaining screens. The filter-retaining screens form the upstream and downstream faces of the filter. The filtration element may be a frame with lattice and a rigidifying channel therearound combined with a filtration material extended around the frame. The filtration material may be slit and expanded paper that is joined at overlapping edges, or merely overlapped, to form a sleeve. One or more of the filtration elements are mounted in the housing substantially parallel to one another and to the screens.

  • Patent number: 5678247
Abstract: Odor-absorbing articles of clothing particularly useful for hunting big game animals wherein the clothing incorporates an intermediate odor-absorbing layer or sheet of material comprising non-woven synthetic fibers impregnated with activated carbon powdered particles. The relatively low cost odor-absorbing sheet possesses a flexible, readily pliant characteristic which permits its incorporation into an article of hunting clothing to preserve the required comfort to the wearer. The odor-absorbing sheet includes a binder which upon drying, adheres the carbon particles to the synthetic fibers without causing the sheet to become stiff and unpliant. The preferred activated carbon loading is about 100 to 200 weight percent of the weight of the non-woven sheet material.

  • Patent number: 5134924
Abstract: A machine for the automatic making of coffee or like beverages from a plurality of preformed packets wherein each packet is successively delivered to a liquid delivery head and further a plurality of containers are each disposed in receiving relation with water flowing through individual ones of said plurality of packets from the delivery head for the collection of the formed beverage. A control assembly is provided to automatically regulate the synchronized movement of the delivery head into engaging relation with successively positioned packets and the supplying of liquid thereto at a predetermined time and in a predetermined quantity so that each packet, when successively and operatively positioned will form the correct amount of coffee in the aligned container.

  • Patent number: 4421014
Abstract: An assembly directed to the preparation or production of individual servings of a predetermined, variable quantity beverage, wherein the assembly is primarily intended for the production of Expresso Coffee or like beverage. The assembly may be manually operated and includes the directing of liquid from a liquid storage facility under pressure to a liquid dispersement receptacle. One or more filter receptacles having the beverage forming ingredient therein are brought into sealing engagement with the liquid receiving receptacle for the purpose of forcing the liquid into direct contact with the beverage ingredients resulting in the formation of the intended beverage and its delivery to a pre-positioned serving receptacle in aligned relation to the subject filter receptacle.
